Tokyo Disney Resort Hotels 2026: Disney Hotels, Official Hotels and Happy Entry

Tokyo Disney Resort's first-time-visitor guide sorts its hotels into seven types: four Disney Hotel types (Luxury, Deluxe, Moderate, Value) and three groups of partner hotels (Official, Partner, Good Neighbor). Happy Entry, which lets you enter a Park through a Special Entrance before other guests, is a Disney Hotels benefit; the benefit page for the other three groups does not list it. A Disney Hotel guest can buy Park tickets at the hotel, including dates shown as unavailable on the public ticket site. An Official Hotel guest must contact the hotel in advance to buy Park tickets there. A Partner or Good Neighbor Hotel guest must have booked a plan that includes a Park ticket or the right to buy one.

The seven hotel types

The four Good Neighbor areas are Shinjuku, Koto/Sumida, Daiba/Ariake and Chiba/Makuhari; the official pages show hotels only as numbers on a map, so this guide does not match them. Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel is one hotel with two buildings (Grand Chateau and Fantasy Chateau) and opened June 6, 2024.

Shuttles and baggage by group

The benefit page says bus times may change with traffic, buses may not run, and no replacement transport is guaranteed. Good Neighbor seats are reserved at the reception or bell desk on arrival; some hotels take phone reservations in advance. Official Hotels have complimentary baggage delivery from the Welcome Center, plus paid station and home delivery.

Happy Entry: which Park, how early, which dates

The Happy Entry page (updated September 24, 2026) sets the rules.

The FAQ for Fantasy Springs Hotel says its guests can enter Tokyo DisneySea 15 minutes before other guests. The two numbers come from different pages, so read the Happy Entry page for your date.

How it works:

• Use it on any day of your stay except the check-in day; checkout day counts.
• Each hotel guest aged 4 or over, including a child sharing a bed, gets one Special Entrance Pass, valid only on the date shown. Grand Chateau guests visiting Tokyo DisneySea need no pass: the page says your card key confirms the stay, and you show the card keys for your whole party.
• You also need a Park ticket. The page says the benefit "does not guarantee 15 minutes Park experience". Attractions start after the Park opens for other guests. When the Special Entrance queue is long, other guests may start to enter before all Disney Hotel guests have entered.
• The FAQ says Happy Entry applies to Disney Hotel guests whatever the booking method or date.

Excluded dates, as of September 24, 2026:

• Tokyo Disneyland: October 31, 2026, November 10, 2026 and January 12, 2027, for guests of Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta, Fantasy Springs Hotel Fantasy Chateau and Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel. Grand Chateau guests can use it on those dates.
• Tokyo DisneySea: no excluded date until February 2027. The page says dates from March 2027 will be announced on its site.

The page says excluded dates are set about four months ahead, so you may not know them when you book.

At Tokyo DisneySea the entrance depends on your hotel (see "Getting there"); MiraCosta guests go through the security check at Park Entrance North. For MiraCosta renovation dates, see the renovation table below. The page says operations have changed since September 1, 2025 because of construction near the Tokyo DisneySea entrance, and that the construction is scheduled to end by March 2029.

Buying Park tickets as a Disney Hotel guest

The ticket page says:

• You can buy one ticket per day of use for each staying guest (children sharing a bed count). Children ages 3 and under need no ticket.
• Each ticket is for a fixed date and one Park (Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea, not both on the same day). You can buy from your check-in day to your checkout day, and also before check-in and after checkout.
• Pay by cash or credit card. Guests of every Disney Hotel but Celebration Hotel can charge it to the room.
• Buy at your hotel or at the Disney Hotels Service Counter on the second floor of the Welcome Center. Celebration Hotel guests can buy only at their own hotel.
• If you booked a Vacation Package, you cannot buy another ticket for the same date as a ticket in the package.

Booking a Disney Hotel

You book on the Tokyo Disney Resort Online Reservations & Tickets website.

1. Register a free MyDisney account.
2. Booking opens at 11:00 a.m. on the same day four months before your stay. If that month has no matching day, it opens at 11:00 a.m. on the 1st of the following month; for an October 31 check-in, booking opens July 1. The FAQ says booking closes at 8:59 p.m. (Japan time) on the day before the stay. The pages say these dates may change.
3. You can book up to five consecutive nights and three rooms at once. For four or more rooms, or six or more nights, make a new booking for the extra rooms or nights, with the User IDs of the guests staying there.
4. Enter a different guest name for each room. You cannot change a name after booking.
5. Pay the deposit by credit card. Pay the rest at the hotel.

"Reserve a Room Only" or "Reserve a Vacation Package". A room-only booking includes no Park tickets. A Vacation Package is an all-inclusive plan with a Disney Hotel stay, Park tickets for the stay, Attraction Tickets and restaurant vouchers. The plans differ. You pay by credit card, and booking closes at 11:59 p.m. ten days before check-in (Japan time); the close date may differ by plan. Each Grand Chateau room includes eight Attraction Tickets and four Show Viewing Tickets in the room price, and you still need a Park ticket to enter. Content, price and available dates are on the Online Reservations & Tickets site.

Online Reservation Privileges. If you book on the official site, you can book some hotel and Park restaurants in advance from "My Bookings", and some higher room types include breakfast. If you book through a travel agent or another website, the reservation page points you to different steps, through the Support Desk by phone.

Resale warning. The Resort accepts Disney Hotel bookings made on its own website and on other travel sites. A notice updated February 18, 2025 says it has found confirmed or suspected unauthorized resale of reservations by third parties on some travel sites. Signs it lists: a "no full refund" rule that differs from the official cancellation rules; wrong information about hotel facilities and services; and photos that differ from the real hotel or rooms. Such bookings may not show the real services and may not be honored under the booking terms. The accommodation contract (Article 8 (10) and (11)) lets the hotel refuse a booking if the booker hid an intent to resell it or used another person's MyDisney account.

Deposit, cancellation and date changes

Per the reservation help page, you pay the deposit per room per stay, by credit card, when you book. Consecutive nights share one deposit; each extra room needs its own. The deposit counts toward the room charge or the cancellation fee.

Fees are per room, Japan time. The table starts 14 days before the stay and says nothing about earlier cancellation. Cancel on the website; on the day of the stay, contact the hotel. A change for your own reasons counts as cancelling the original booking.

Two details differ between official pages:

• Date change. The accommodation contract (Article 5, paragraph 3) says the hotel first cancels the original contract and you then make a new booking. The Simplified Chinese FAQ says to make the new booking first, then cancel the old one in My Bookings.
• Balance. The reservation help page says to pay the rest of the hotel charge at check-out. The Simplified Chinese FAQ says to pay on the day of check-in.

Cards. The English FAQ says all hotels accept cash, credit cards, electronic money and Tokyo Disney Resort Gift Cards, but not debit cards or some foreign-issued credit cards. On UnionPay, the English FAQ says it is not accepted at the front desk of Disney Ambassador Hotel, MiraCosta, Tokyo Disneyland Hotel and Toy Story Hotel, and that Celebration Hotel's card list includes it; it does not list Fantasy Springs Hotel. The Simplified Chinese FAQ says UnionPay cards cannot be used at any Disney Hotel. The deposit card list on the reservation site (JCB, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, Orico, Mitsubishi UFJ Nicos, AEON and TOYOTA FINANCE, with 3D-Secure; Orico and Mitsubishi UFJ Nicos cards must carry a JCB, VISA, MasterCard or American Express brand mark) does not include UnionPay. Ask the hotel first if you plan to pay with UnionPay.

Check-in and checkout. Check-in is from 3:00 p.m. and checkout is at 12:00 noon at Fantasy Springs Hotel, Tokyo Disneyland Hotel, Disney Ambassador Hotel, MiraCosta and Toy Story Hotel; Celebration Hotel checkout is 11:00 a.m. The contract says you may have to wait after 3:00 p.m. A Pre Check-in service on the day of stay lets you check in earlier (the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel service page says rooms are ready after 4:30 p.m.). Pre Check-in at the Disney Hotels Service Counter in the Welcome Center ended on June 5, 2024.

Getting there

JR Maihama Station (Keiyo and Musashino Lines) is the closest station to the Resort, and Tokyo Disneyland is about a five-minute walk from it. The hotel pages put Tokyo Station to Maihama at 15 minutes; the "By Train" page says about 20 minutes and gives about 80 minutes (one transfer) from Narita Airport and about 50 minutes (two transfers) from Haneda Airport, without time spent changing trains. The FAQ says there is no complimentary shuttle bus from Narita or Haneda to the Disney Hotels, and none from JR Maihama Station. The hotel access pages say bus services run between the airports and the hotels.

The Disney Resort Line is a paid monorail. The fare page lists a single ticket at 300 yen for adults (ages 12 and over) and 150 yen for children (ages 11 and under), and a 1-day pass at 700 yen and 350 yen. The first and last trains of the day leave Resort Gateway Station at 6:03 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. For young children, the English fare page says up to two children under age 6 ride free with each paying adult and infants under age 1 are free; the Simplified Chinese page says ages 6 to 11 pay half fare and each ticketed passenger takes up to two preschool children free.

For Celebration Hotel and Narita, the English FAQ says there is no direct bus (use public transport); the Simplified Chinese FAQ says the direct bus is suspended. The Fantasy Springs Hotel page says that until further notice only guests staying at that hotel can enter the hotel and its grounds; a guest of another hotel with a Vacation Package dining reservation at Fantasy Springs Restaurant can enter only that restaurant.

Families with young children

Children ages 11 and under can share a bed with another guest at the Disney Hotels, except on some bed types. The English family page and the reservation help page say a regular bed takes one child and a double bed up to two. The Simplified Chinese family page says each double bed takes one child. The "Bed Types and Sizes" table on your room type's page is the final rule. Room pages list, for example, "Regular: maximum of 2 guests (including 1 bedshare)" and "Double: maximum of 4 guests (including 2 bedshares)"; Trundle, Cruise and Alcove beds take a maximum of 1 person.

The Simplified Chinese FAQ says a child sharing with a guest on a trundle, cruise, alcove, pull-down, daybed or bunk bed pays extra. A Simplified Chinese FAQ for Fantasy Springs Hotel says a child cannot share a trundle, cruise or alcove bed with a guest there.

• Room size. Each room type's page lists its capacity: Toy Story Hotel "up to 4 persons", Celebration Hotel rooms for five, Tokyo Disneyland Hotel a room type for 5, Disney Ambassador Hotel a room type for 6 ("2 sets of twins"). There is no single maximum per hotel.
• Cribs. A crib is for a child under 18 months and needs advance reservation.
• Pajamas and meals. Disney Hotels provide children's pajamas at check-in on request, and their restaurants offer children's menus.

Which should you choose

The official pages give no price comparison between the groups, so this routing uses benefits, location and rules only.

• Earliest entry: a Disney Hotel. At Tokyo DisneySea only Fantasy Springs Hotel and MiraCosta have Happy Entry.
• A Park ticket for a date sold out on the public site: a Disney Hotel, or an Official Hotel you contact first. Partner and Good Neighbor guests need a plan that includes a ticket or the right to buy one.
• A short walk to a Park: Tokyo Disneyland Hotel faces Tokyo Disneyland; MiraCosta is inside Tokyo DisneySea; Fantasy Springs Hotel is Park-integrated.
• A hotel with a shuttle: Disney Ambassador Hotel and Celebration Hotel run non-stop shuttles for their own guests; Partner buses need no reservation; Good Neighbor buses need one.
• Small children or a long stay: pick the room type from its bed table. For more than five nights or three rooms, make several bookings.

Where to see room rates. The Disney Hotels page has a Room Availability / Rate Calendar for every Disney Hotel except Grand Chateau (use the Online Reservations & Tickets website for Grand Chateau). It shows the room-only price for one room with two adults (up to two children ages 11 or under stay at no extra charge) and marks availability with three symbols For Official, Partner and Good Neighbor Hotels, the Tokyo Disney Resort pages show no rates: contact us with your dates for a quote.
